WASHINGTON CASH (Community Alliance for Self Help)

I wanted to introduce everyone to the organization that I have become associated with: www.washingtoncash.org. Washington CASH is a micro-entrepreneurship organization here in Seattle assisting business owners. Their clients are typically of low(er) income demographics, but many others (myself included) have been able to take advantage of their services. They are probably one of the only domestic (U.S.) micro-finance organizations operating successfully under the Grameen Bank model. Furthermore, the Small Business Administration and Mercy Corps (Portland, OR) have contributed to WA CASH's revolving micro-loan fund, and they now have over 150K in lending power... this is the new bottom-up approach that is going to save the U.S. economy. No more bailouts!!! How about a hand-up to small business owners and micro-entrepreneurs?
