U-dub Planning Department / Professional Practice.

There is a "Professional Practice Group" at the Univeristy of Washington's College of Urban and Regional Planning. This is an informal network of faculty, students, and planning professionals. They are working on the linkages between the research needs of professional practitioners and the resources and agenda of the College. As a professional (and as a former planning student), I welcome this exchange and hope to see it flourish. Planning agencies are always in need of fresh perspective, and students are always in need of research topics, especially if the research might lead to internships or employment. It is a symbiotic relationship!
